Why Visit Maui in August?
August offers ideal conditions for exploring Upcountry Maui. While many visitors head to the beaches, Kula provides cooler temperatures, fresh mountain air, and spectacular panoramic views.
It’s also a wonderful time to experience Maui’s agricultural side and support local farming. Visitors leave with a deeper appreciation for sustainable agriculture and the incredible work that goes into producing every cup of coffee and every piece of chocolate.
Sustainable Farming with Aloha
At Kupa’a Farms, we believe healthy farms create healthy communities. Our regenerative farming practices help protect the land while producing high-quality cacao, coffee, fruits, and vegetables.
One of our favorite partners in the orchard is the Madre de Cacao Gliricidia tree, often called the “mother tree.” It provides shade and wind protection for our young cacao trees while naturally enriching the soil, allowing the orchard to thrive.
Reserve Your August Tour
Summer is one of our busiest seasons, and private tour availability is limited. We encourage guests to reserve early to secure their preferred date.
